'Ghosts of Allendale' Is Here!
November 11, 2010
My new book, "Ghosts of Allendale" has arrived, and we have several exciting book-related events coming up.
A special advance sale begins tonight (Nov. 11) in the lobby of Northern Highlands from 6:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. The books will also be on sale Friday and Saturday night at the high school (same times). I will be on hand to sell and sign copies of the book.
The full-color book, illustrated by 14 artists from Northern Highlands Regional High School, centers on a new Revolutionary War-era ghost story set in Allendale.
The tale features Founding Father John Fell and a frightening night in Wolf Swamp, which is now the 107-acre Celery Farm Natural Area.
“Ghosts” officially on sale on Monday, Nov. 22, at the Lee Memorial Library and Rohsler’s Nursery in Allendale, as well as Wild Birds Unlimited in Paramus. Lee Memorial Library will host a talk and signing on Thursday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. Rohsler’s will host a signing on Dec. 5 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Other events are in the works.
All Profits from the limited edition, which sells for $19.95, will benefit the Fell House and the Lillian and Stiles Thomas Scholarship Fund at Northern Highlands. The Fell House is located at 475 Franklin Turnpike.
I have a new website devoted to "Ghosts" and related news and events. I will post only short 'Ghosts of Allendale' items here, with links to the site.
The website is here.
