Not many birds at the feeder during the Birdy 30 this a.m..
This guy stopped by to explain why... I'm thinking it was a Cooper's Hawk.
It's not so itsy-bitsy, and it's web measures seven feet across at one point.
What kind is it? What a web the wascal wove.
In front of the house.
I feed birds (and squirrels unintentionally). As of about a month ago, the squirrels have totally disappeared.
I still see them around my place...
Any thoughts?
I trimmed a portion of the invasive Phragmites along Parnell's Path as an experiment to let in more sunlight (to dry the path faster) and to provide a better view of the sky over the lake...
What do you think?
