On Tuesday, I wrote about two new books by Florence McBride that celebrate the Birds of Connecticut exhibit at Yale's Peabody Museum of Natural History -- an exhibit cut short by Covid-19.

The exhibit featured the brilliant taxidermic work of David H. Parsons.

Florence was nice enough to share a photo of Parsons, along with an article by Ruth Billard Morrill in Taxidermy Today (Winter, 1989) about him and his work.
