The fabulous 2019 Celery Farm Calendar is now available!

Not only filled with lovely photographs taken at the Celery Farm by members of Fyke Nature Association, the calendar contains a ton of information on the expected arrival of birds and other wildlife back at the Farm.

How else will you know when the Black-crowned Night Herons are due, so you can get out there and see and/or photograph them?

I'll be selling them this Sunday morning (9/30/18) from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the little parking lot on Franklin Turnpike.

It's a lovely calendar and an awesome way to show your support for our beloved Celery Farm. Only $15; cash or check only please.

I will have Stiles Thomas' carving of an Ivory-billed Woodpecker on display, along with the first-ever crocheted Wild Turducken by Carol Flanagan. 

My Celery Farm children's books also will be available for $10 each (signed and inscribed), with the proceeds going to the Center for Food Action in Mahwah.

Last night, Stiles Thomas unveiled his latest carving -- an Ivory-billed Woodpecker.

When I brought it outside to photograph it just now, a Blue Jay flew to a nearby tree and started shouting at it.

Pretty awesome.
