A recent Celery Farm surprise was the beautiful bunch of Cardinal Flowers growing along the Allendale Brook.  In the photo, I noted a bug I do not recognize.  Can anyone help?

As most of us suspected, the correct answer was one of the Pyrgotid flies, most likely Pyrgota undata.
