Thursday Afternoon Mystery: Where Went the Ridgewood Swifts?

OLMC School Chimney-9-22-14--1910 hrs-a

Kurt Muentz, Fyke's resident chimney swift expert and counter writes:

Sorry to report zero sightings after several checks at all three Ridgewood communal roosting sites -  George Washington School, the Willard and Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

As recently as 2010, more than 3,000 swifts roosted at the George Washington School. Where'd they all go?

A link to a column I wrote about the Ridgewood swifts is here.

Holler if you see any communal nesting sites!
