Laurel Hill Nest Report

The Ospreys are back on their old radio tower nest (above) across the Hackensack River from Laurel Hill.
A Peregrine Falcon was perched near its nest (the former Common Ravens' nest) on the cliff (below).
In short, so far so good this season, unless you are the still-evicted raven family.
Peregrines and Ospreys -- along with Bald Eagles -- were the raptors most affected by DDT, so it is always great to see them doing well.
