Monday, Aug. 10: S'mores and Some Moths!
This CF Butterfly Looked a Bit Peckish

Hour on the Tower from Peru

Thought I should post the list of 41 DSCN0809-003species that Kevin Watson, Betsy Thomas, Suzanne Serafini, Patty Finn, I, and guides Galo Real and William Huaman saw last month during our hour on the tower at Amazonia Lodge in Manu, Peru, as part of a longer birding trip.

Pretty much the same birds as we get at the Celery Farm, with some exceptions.

We actually climbed a mountain, then climbed a rickety tower, decided it was unsafe, climbed down the tower, and then climbed down the mountain and did the hour from the lodge. Just to make things more challenging.
