The Butterfly Garden at the CF needs volunteers to bring gallon jugs of water to the rain barrels behind the bench.
I am told that a gallon jug of water weighs eight pounds or so, so the best way to do this is to bring two jugs filled with water at home, park at the end of Green Way and carry a gallon jug in each hand to the rain barrels.
The Butterfly Gardeners do a great job for all of us.

Following up on my post of Tuesday about rescuing Great Horned Owl in Washington Township, The Raptor Trust reports:
The owl was seizuring the night he came in, which is usually a bad sign.
We gave him diazepam for the seizures, but I'm very sorry to have to tell you that he died overnight his first night here.
Ace birder Krzysztof Bystrowski has joined The 2015 Celery Farm Big Year contest and became an instant contender, with 111 species so far.
I will try post updated totals as May 31 in early June.
