Last night I was at Boscobel to see "Two Gentlemen of Verona" and saw the same type of dragonfly with the white "tail" and wondered what kind it was. 

I'd never seen one that looked like this, and there it was on your blog!

Susan and I have decided what kind it is.  What do you think?

An old barn in Allendale was about to be razed this summer, before folks were informed that nesting Black Vultures were inside -- with two young.

Working through a backlog of photos, I found this one from the Celery Farm in June.  

I wonder if the dragonfly was contemplating a wing upgrade, or maybe decided it could 'fly first class' if it hitched a ride, rather than having to do its own 'winging'.

Michael Buckley is reporting blonde-tailed gray squirrels in his yard in Allendale. Anybody else seen any or -- better yet -- seen and photographed one?
