Fyke kicks off another season of programs with a double-header on Friday night, Sept. 27:

* A talk and slide show on my coffee-table book, "The Nature of the Meadowlands."

* A sculpture exhibition featuring the unveiling of recent bird carvings by the legendary Celery Farm Marsh Warden emeritus Stiles Thomas.

I have no doubt who the star of the show will be.  

Did I mention that the event is free? Details will follow sooner or later.
