As I recall, this is what was left of a Skunk Cabbage plant in the Celery Farm on a recent walk-around.
My wife Patty did all the work to get this notice certifying our yard as an official wildlife habitat. It's a great program that helps makes your yard more attractive to all sorts of wildlife -- from birds to butterflies -- at a time when such land is at a premium.
